N.D. sharptail numbers increase; sage grouse remain far below goal, and ruffed grouse counts decline

grandforksherald - Sharp-tailed grouse numbers in North Dakota are up 9 percent from last year based results from spring dancing ground surveys, the Game and Fish Department said Monday in reporting results from its annual sharptail, ruffed grouse and sage grouse assessments.
