City begins street projects in Grand Forks, resulting in closures

GRAND FORKS — The city of Grand Forks announced the beginning of two street projects.

One is near the corner of University Avenue and North Fourth Street. There, crews have begun utility work for a private development. The sidewalk on the west side of North Fourth, in front of City Hall, will remain open. The closure is expected to last approximately three weeks.

The other is in the area around the 600 block of Reeves Drive, where crews have begun forcemain work. residents will have access to Reeves Drive, but motorists will not be able to drive all the way down Reeves, the city said in a release. The work is expected to last two weeks.
